Development of an improved grinding machine

A new grinding machine has been developed by the design department of our factory.

Rail grinding machine SHPSH-1 is designed for grinding of rail neck and foot of the rail in the place of welded joint of rails of R50, R65 and R75 types after their welding in the track. It is used on all railways for grinding rail joints after welding. With special suspension and possibility to rotate the grinding head by an angle of up to 45° in the vertical plane, the machine can grind the welded joint and qualitatively eliminate defects.

The rail welding joint grinding machine SHPSH-1 provides precise grinding of the welded joint in accordance with the rail profile without visual control by the operator due to a special copying device.
