Starting up a rack-milling machine
Due to the start-up of the Kesel R2500M rack-milling machine in the Mechanical workshop No. 1 the plant starts mass machining of steel racks with length up to 2950 mm and width up to 250 mm.
The machine is equipped with a 43 kW milling head that allows milling of a tooth up to 32 modules. The machine is equipped with a Siemens 840D sl CNC system, a lubricating fluid cooling system and a chip conveyor.
