The 3M636 grinding and fettling machine is designed for fettling and cleaning castings in foundry production. It is also widely used for processing forgings and rolled stock blanks in preparation shops. Fettling grinding is used to remove the defective metal layer from castings, forgings, rolled, stamped and welded blanks. During surface cleaning, the geometry of the parts themselves remains unchanged.

• For fettling (cleaning) cast iron and steel castings, medium-hard (СТ2) and hard (Т) grinding wheels with a grit size of 20 and 24 are used. The permissible grinding wheel speed during casting fettling is determined by a peripheral speed in the range of 40–50 m/s.
• The cost of the built-in ventilation system for the 3M636 machine is 250,000 RUB incl. VAT.
